I don't think I'm doing it right -- all I seem to be able to do is make you flap your arms up and down in a highly entertaining manner. (Admittedly, it's good to be entertained!).
Try again now, I caught the glitch.
I just tried it but even when I hit my space bar twice in almost simultaneous succession, you blow me away. This makes me think that I don't understand the directions fully.
This time around, I think we can blame operator error with even greater confidence: I keep ending up on the ground. And glitch or no glitch, I really do miss Arm-Flapping Thomas.
I'll have another go at it tomorrow, at which time I'll perhaps be less incompetent. (No wise cracks out of you, mister). :)
Sorry kids...
This one is a metter of thousandths of a second, so tweaking it can get rather tetchy.
I slowed it down a bit and set it up to show you the timers for the showdown. Perhaps this will help you.
[p.s. If you still can't beat me, let me know what kind of times you are getting. Perhaps there are extraordinary processor issues at hand in this one.]
Triumph! 97/1000 of a second to your 100/1000 of a second.
Um, I just *tied* and your guy shot me dead. We both had 99/1000 of a second, and yet I'm the one who fell down. That doesn't seem fully fair.
Haven't you ever heard the old adage: ties goes to the programmer. Well, I have, and I'm sticking to it. And if you don't like it... er.. well, I guess I am sorry, but that is just the way to code crumbles.
