Oh, no, you want her to know you're a nerd, and to know that nerdiness is cool. My dad's a huge nerd. He taught me most of what I know about being a nerd, and you see where it got me.
But of course, though having someone other than a parent point out that nerdiness is cool -- or to quote Devo, that "We're through being cool" -- is rather helpful. As the Aquapapa I may lack a certain independent credibility on the issue.
Hence, the eminently cool/nerdy Dr. S to the rescue!!!

That baby will be hip years before she can even say the word, oh yeah.
When she grows up just a very little, I will teach her to say "cool!" just as I did to my neighbor's kid when she was a baby. Heh.
Perhaps that will help counteract the likelihood of her early words consisting of some combination of DADDY, IS, and NERD...

I love the name Aquapapa.
Though, technically speaking, I believe I am the Terrapapa, the Aquapapa moniker seems to have stuck.
How do you feel about Aqua-auntie?
Not Aquadaddy?
Incidentally, I think that one of the baby garments should read "Baby Is Here. Resistance Is Futile."
